What is a fire sprinkler system?
A fire sprinkler system is an active fire suppression system that automatically detects heat and discharges water directly over a fire, controlling or extinguishing it before it spreads. Unlike a fire alarm that only alerts, a sprinkler system fights the fire. Each sprinkler head operates independently, only the head nearest the fire activates, not the entire system.

Dry pipe sprinkler systems

Deluge sprinkler systems

Pre-action sprinkler systems
A two-step system: a fire detection signal must trigger before water is allowed into the pipes, and then a sprinkler head must activate to discharge.
