A water based AVD extinguisher made specifically for lithium-ion battery fires, applying the agent as a mist that coats the fuel and blocks oxygen. Offered in 1, 2, 6 and 9 litre stored pressure models.
- AVD agent: water carrying exfoliated vermiculite particles that form a non-flammable film over the burning surface
- Applied as a mist to cool the fuel and limit fire spread between cells
- Stored pressure design with nitrogen (UHP grade) as the expelling agent, nozzle type discharge
- 1 Ltr model rated 3A, average discharge 25 seconds, throw 1.5 to 2 m, about 97 percent discharge
- Service, maximum service and test pressures of 15, 18 and 35 bar
- Operating temperature +5 to +60 degrees C
