How to choose
Start with the garment. The boiler suit and the coverall are one piece suits that give full body cover. The SafeEss coverall adds loops on the chest or waist for a radio and a gas detector, and reinforced pressure points for longer wear. The conti suit is a two piece jacket and pant uniform in single or double colour patterns, with full or half sleeves. The industrial T-shirt is a polo with a stand-up collar, full or half sleeves and a chest pocket.
Then choose the fabric and its weight. The suits come in 100% pre-shrunk pure cotton, polyester cotton, polyester or polyester viscose, and the T-shirts in cotton, polyester cotton, polyester, PC matty or sinker fabric. GSM means grams per square metre, the weight of the fabric: the suits are offered at 200, 210, 240, 260, 280 or 300 GSM, where a lower number is a lighter fabric and a higher number a heavier, thicker one.
Check the visibility and fittings. Boiler suits and coveralls carry one or two inch reflective strips at the shoulders, sleeves, back and shins, and conti suits and T-shirts a two inch strip. The coverall, conti suit and T-shirt strips come in silver or YSY tape, a striped yellow and silver reflective tape.
