Sant Valves PRV Forged Brass Pressure Reducing Valve
Sizes: 15 mm to 100 mm
Spring loaded forged brass pressure reducing valve with a screwed in bonnet, for water and compressed air. Sizes 15 mm to 100 mm.
A pressure reducing valve lowers the pressure of water or air to a set value downstream, and a relief valve opens to release pressure when a line goes above its limit. Fire Protection System supplies piston, spring loaded and diaphragm pressure reducing valves and spring loaded relief valves from Sant Valves, Kartar Valves and Zoloto in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
Sizes: 15 mm to 100 mm
Spring loaded forged brass pressure reducing valve with a screwed in bonnet, for water and compressed air. Sizes 15 mm to 100 mm.
Sizes: 15 mm to 50 mm
Spring loaded gun metal pressure reducing valve with a rubber diaphragm, available in three outlet pressure ranges, for water and air. Screwed ends, 15 mm to 50 mm.
Sizes: 8 mm to 50 mm
Right angle, spring loaded gun metal relief valve with enclosed discharge, so the released flow can be piped away. Sizes 8 mm to 50 mm, for water and air.
Sizes: 8 mm to 50 mm
Straight pattern, spring loaded gun metal relief valve with open discharge. Sizes 8 mm to 50 mm, for water and air.
Sizes: 15 mm to 50 mm
Compact piston type pressure reducing valve with screwed female ends, from 15 mm to 50 mm, for water and air. The website lists PN10, PN16 and PN25 set at 3 bar unless specified; the product list gives the forged brass K608 in PN1.6 with a 2 to 16 kg/cm2 output and a maximum reduction to 1/4 of inlet pressure.
Sizes: 15 mm to 50 mm
Compact forged brass pressure reducing valve that works on line pressure alone, for inlet pressures up to 25 bar, with female threaded ends from 15 mm to 50 mm.
Sizes: 65 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm
Bronze version of Zoloto's compact pressure reducing valve for the larger sizes, 65 mm to 100 mm, taking inlet pressures up to 25 bar with female threaded ends.
Sizes: 15 mm to 50 mm
Spring loaded safety relief valve with open discharge, bronze or forged brass body and a male screwed end, set pressure range up to 10 kg/cm²g, 15 mm to 50 mm.
Sizes: 15 mm to 50 mm
Enclosed discharge version of Zoloto's spring loaded safety relief valve, with a male screwed end and a set pressure range up to 10 kg/cm²g, 15 mm to 50 mm.

The gunmetal (bronze) version of Kartar's pressure reducing valve, K607, which Kartar offers on request. We confirm sizes and settings with the maker before quoting.
First decide which job the valve must do. A pressure reducing valve keeps the pressure after it at a lower set value, which protects equipment and small lines fed from a higher pressure supply. A relief valve stays shut in normal service and opens to release pressure only when it rises above its setting. The Sant Valves and Kartar Valves models with published details are listed for water and air.
For a pressure reducing valve, match the inlet pressure, the outlet setting and the line size. The Kartar Valves K-607 / K-608 compact piston type valve has screwed female ends from 15 mm to 50 mm; Kartar's website lists it in PN10, PN16 and PN25, set at 3 bar unless you specify another setting, and its product list gives the forged brass K608 in PN1.6 with an output of 2 to 16 kg/cm2 and a maximum reduction to 1/4 of the inlet pressure. The Sant Valves forged brass PRV takes a maximum inlet of 16 barg with an outlet range of 1 to 6 bar, from 15 mm to 100 mm, and the Sant Valves IBR-17A gun metal diaphragm valve offers outlet ranges of 5/60, 20/80 and 40/125 psig, a maximum inlet of 250 psig and a service temperature of 50°C, from 15 mm to 50 mm. Zoloto offers compact valves that work on line pressure alone, for inlet pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 90°C, in forged brass from 15 mm to 50 mm (1040B) and bronze from 65 mm to 100 mm (1040A), each with a gauge port to read the outlet pressure.
For a relief valve, choose the discharge type and the set pressure. Enclosed discharge valves, such as the right angle Sant Valves IBR-22 and the Zoloto 1094A, let the released flow be piped away, while open discharge valves, such as the straight Sant Valves IBR-21 and the Zoloto 1094, release it at the valve. The Sant Valves relief valves are gun metal from 8 mm to 50 mm with a maximum working pressure of 150 psig, and the Zoloto valves come in bronze or forged brass from 15 mm to 50 mm with a set pressure range up to 10 kg/cm²g and metal to rubber seating.
Tell FPS the inlet pressure, the outlet pressure or relief setting you need and the line size, and FPS will confirm the model and setting with the maker before ordering; the gunmetal Kartar Valves K607 is offered on request. FPS supplies, installs and maintains these valves across Madhya Pradesh.
