How to choose

A manual call point lets anyone raise the fire alarm by hand. Agni recommends them for escape routes, corridors, staircases, entrances and exits, so a person leaving the building can operate one on the way out.

Match the call point to the panel. The FYRLAAST FL-433/MCP is addressable, so the panel shows exactly which call point was operated. Agni's conventional call points suit the majority of conventional fire alarm systems and work on 18 to 26 V DC.

Then choose the body and the way it operates. The FL-433/MCP is resettable, with a non-breakable element, a reset key and an LED that shows it has been activated. The conventional FR polymer ABS model has an unbreakable glass behind a front protection cover. The AD101 has an MS (mild steel) body with a breakable glass, which has to be replaced after use. All three can be flush or surface mounted.

Agni also lists an emergency door release unit in its conventional call point range but publishes no details for it online. Tell us your requirement and FPS will confirm the model, with a price on request.

Frequently asked questions

Resettable or break glass call point: what is the difference?
A resettable call point is put back into service with a key after it is operated, as on the Agni FL-433/MCP. A break glass call point, such as the Agni AD101, has a glass that breaks when pressed and must be replaced.
Where should manual call points be installed?
Along escape routes, corridors and staircases, and at entrances and exits, so a person can raise the alarm by hand while leaving the building.
Will Agni conventional call points work with my existing panel?
Agni states that its conventional call points suit the majority of conventional fire alarm systems. FPS can check your panel before supply.
Which approvals does Agni list for its call points?
Agni lists ERTL (N), EN 54 and UL for its conventional call points, and EN 54 for the FYRLAAST addressable call point. ERTL (N) is the Electronics Regional Test Laboratory (North).
