CAFS stands for compressed air foam system. The Savemax units push the foam solution through a discharge gun that breaks it into fine water mist droplets, so the discharge cools the fire and lays a foam blanket over it while using little agent.
Choose a backpack when the operator has to move on foot. The 9 and 12 litre backpacks are fully self-contained, need no external power or infrastructure, and are worn by a single operator, which suits forests, heritage buildings, narrow corridors and places wheeled equipment cannot reach. The 12 litre holds 33% more agent than the 9 litre for a longer discharge.
Choose a trolley for large floor areas. The 45 and 50 litre units are wheeled, handled by two people, and specified by Savemax for Class A, B and F fires across warehouses, construction zones, hangars and open yards. The 50 litre is the highest capacity CAFS water mist unit in the Savemax range.
All four models are CPWD approved and Euro certified. FPS supplies them in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh and can service and recharge them after use.
