A talk-back system gives fire fighters and staff a dedicated telephone link between points around the building and a master station. The Soft-Chip master station is microprocessor based, uses DTMF technology on a PSTN based, 2 wire, 24 V operated telephone circuit, and comes in 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 zones.
Count the telephone points or zones you need and choose the zone size to match. Each zone shows Call and Accept, and the controls are Call, Silence and Reset. Soft-Chip states that the station is compatible with all conventional and addressable fire fighter telephone systems.
The station provides a 24 VDC auxiliary supply for other devices and changes over to battery automatically when mains fails, and back again. Soft-Chip also lists a 24 VDC operating voltage, 17 mA to 31 mA operating current, a 300 Hz to 3400 Hz frequency range and red ABS material. It states the station follows IS 2189:1999, lists UL 864/2572 and IS 15908:2011 as design references, and lists CE and RoHS with ERTL (North) testing. FPS supplies, installs, tests and commissions it in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
