A water leak detection panel works much like a zoned alarm panel for water: leak detectors are wired into zones, and the panel shows which zone has a leak and sounds a hooter. The Soft-Chip panel is microprocessor based, conventional type, and comes in 2 and 4 zones, so choose by the number of areas you want reported separately.
Each zone shows Leak, Open, Short and Isolate on a backlit LCD and LEDs. Controls cover lamp test, silence (leak, fault or power fault), evacuate and reset, and the panel monitors mains on, earth fault, battery low and CPU run. A potential free relay passes the signal on to a remote area.
The system runs on 24 V DC with two 12 V 7Ah SMF batteries in a powder coated MS body. It accepts conventional leak detectors and hooters of any make, and Soft-Chip states it is compatible with CE, UL, FM and LPCB listed devices and sensors. Soft-Chip lists CE and RoHS and states it is ERTL (North) tested. FPS supplies, installs, tests and commissions the panel in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
