A group security alarm is an intruder alarm panel that raises the alarm when a connected security device is triggered. The Soft-Chip panel is microprocessor based, runs on 12 VDC (+10%), and is switched on or off and programmed from its keypad.
It keeps time with a 24 hour real time clock, changes between day and night mode automatically, and keeps night mode active on Sundays and holidays, which suits premises such as bank branches. Alarms are logged, with up to 250 events that can be viewed at any time on a 16x2 LCD with a power saving backlight.
For remote monitoring it is compatible with a central monitoring system (CMS) over TCP/IP, PSTN or GSM, and it is housed in an 18 SWG body protected from dust, water and vermin. Soft-Chip lists CE and RoHS and states that it is ERTL (North) tested. FPS supplies, installs, tests and services the panel and its accessories in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
