Fire Protection System (FPS) is a Balaji Fire Safety dealer in Bhopal, supplying Balaji ceiling mounted automatic modular extinguishers with ABC powder in 5 kg and 10 kg sizes, listed as ISI. We supply, install, refill and maintain them across Madhya Pradesh.
Sizes: 5 kg, 10 kg
A ceiling mounted ABC powder extinguisher that discharges on its own when the temperature below reaches its set point, for rooms where a fire could start with nobody present. Offered in 5 kg and 10 kg, with a mild steel body, and listed by Balaji as ISI.
An automatic modular extinguisher is a sealed unit fixed to the ceiling above the risk. When the temperature below it reaches its set point, it discharges on its own, with no one needing to operate it. Balaji's units are filled with ABC powder, which covers fires in solids, flammable liquids and gases, and have a mild steel body.
Choose the size from the space to be covered. Balaji lists the 5 kg unit for about 2 to 2.5 m² of area or 6 m³ of volume, with a discharge time of 6 to 8 sec and activation at 68°C. The 10 kg unit covers about 4 to 6 m² of area (depending on the site) or 10 m³ of volume, with a discharge time of 15 to 20 sec and a height of about 425 mm.
Balaji lists all its modular units as ISI, and the 10 kg unit to IS 15683. The units work mechanically, so they need no power supply. After a discharge, FPS refills and recharges the unit and checks it before refitting.
Try "landing valve", "Apollo call point", "9 kg ABC" or a model code.
