Choose the sprinkler pattern to suit the ceiling and the pipe layout. Upright sprinklers point up from a pipe below the ceiling, pendent sprinklers hang down from the pipe, sidewall sprinklers are fitted on a wall and throw water across the room, and concealed sprinklers sit behind a flat cover plate for a clean ceiling; New Age supplies the cover plates with its concealed sprinklers. All eight New Age sprinklers are UL Listed, made of bronze, with a 1/2 inch NPT inlet and a maximum working pressure of 175 psi (12 bar).
Choose the response. Quick response sprinklers have a more sensitive heat element and open sooner in a fire; standard response sprinklers open later. Which one is used is set by the sprinkler design standard and the hazard class of the area, so follow your consultant's design, and FPS can help match the model.

What is the difference between quick response and standard response sprinklers?
A quick response sprinkler has a more sensitive heat element, so it opens sooner once the fire starts. The sprinkler design standard for your building decides which type goes where.
Which sprinkler pattern should I use?
