Sizes: 25 mm to 152 mm
Lightweight, self protecting forestry attack hose whose rubberised waterway lets water seep through evenly to wet the jacket. ISI marked, from 25 mm to 152 mm.
Large diameter hose that is lighter and more flexible than mandrel built hoses, resists oil, fuel, chemicals, weather and ozone, and deploys and recovers quickly.
A 30 m, 64 mm hose with brass nozzles spaced every 1 m along its length, operating at 7 bar, with instantaneous couplings to BS 336 / IS 903.
Woven component of 100% synthetic polyester yarn that protects the hose from binding wire, available in diameters from 15 mm up to 150 mm on request.
Flexible hose for sprinkler connections in 700 mm to 1800 mm lengths, rated 175 psi with a 300 psi maximum, with outlets for K-factor 5.6, 8 and 11.2 sprinklers.
Start with the construction. Rubber lined hoses have a woven polyester jacket with a rubber lining: New Age's Premier is a single jacket hose with an EPDM lining, and Premier Extra adds an external elastomer coating for heat and abrasion resistance. Through the weave hoses such as Aquasurge and Pyroprotect have the polyester or polyamide reinforcement embedded in a nitrile or PVC rubber compound with a ribbed cover, and resist oil, fuel, chemicals and kinking. Premier DJ / Hydroline is a double jacketed hose for fire brigade and heavy industrial use, and suits CAFS and foam solution.
Check the approvals your project needs. Premier, Aquasurge and Pyroprotect are ISI marked and UL Listed; Premier Extra and Watershield are ISI marked. Premier conforms to BS 6391:2009 Type 1 and Premier Extra to Type 2, and Premier DJ / Hydroline is made in accordance with NFPA 1961 and conforms to the UL 19 standard. Working and bursting pressures for each hose are given in the tables below.
For special jobs, Watershield is a lightweight forestry attack hose whose waterway lets water seep through evenly so the hose wets and protects itself. Pyrofrac is a large diameter hose that New Age states has five times the abrasion resistance of nitrile rubber hoses, and Pyrojet is a 30 m, 64 mm hose with brass nozzles every 1 m, working at 7 bar. The flexible hose connects sprinklers, in 700 mm to 1800 mm lengths, rated 175 psi. FPS supplies hoses with couplings fitted across Madhya Pradesh.
