Small automatic fire extinguishers of 1 to 4 kg mount on a wall or inside a cabinet and discharge on their own when a fire heats them, for electrical panels, cabinets and small rooms nobody watches. Here are 22 models from Ceasefire and Kanex, compared side by side.
Figures as each maker publishes them. Automatic units discharge on their own when a fire heats them to their set temperature. Makers list the area or volume each size protects at a given mounting height, shown here where published.

Across the 22 models here, as their makers list them: full weight about 1.8 to 6 kg, height about 287 to 493 mm, discharge time about 0.5 to 4 seconds and throw about 2 m.
They come with ABC powder, or with a clean agent (FK-5-1-12 or HFC 236fa) where powder would damage equipment.
Pick clean agent for electronics and panels, and ABC powder for store rooms and general risks. The discharge is quick, a few seconds as the makers list it, so the unit must sit close above or inside the risk.
Wall mounted automatic extinguisher with ABC powder (MAP 50 and MAP 90) in 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 kg, with a thermal actuator that discharges when the temperature rises. It suits compact spaces such as boats and engine compartments.
Wall mounted automatic extinguisher filled with Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) clean agent, in sizes from 1 kg to 9 kg including 1.5 kg and 2.5 kg. It works as a standalone modular suppression unit for small, high risk spaces.
Self contained ceiling unit with MAP 90 ABC powder in 2, 5, 10 and 15 kg, triggered by a quartzoid bulb sprinkler head at about 68 C. It can be made monitorable with a pressure switch or linked with Metron actuators into a total flooding system.
Self contained ceiling unit with Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) clean agent in 2, 5, 10 and 15 kg, triggered by a quartzoid bulb at about 68 C. It leaves no residue, and Ceasefire states it is safe in confined spaces with people present.
Wall mounted self contained unit with MAP 50 ABC powder in 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 kg, triggered by a quartzoid bulb at about 68 C. It gives round the clock protection where people are rarely present and can be linked into a total flooding system.
Wall mounted self contained unit with Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) clean agent in 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 kg, triggered by a quartzoid bulb at 68 C, plus or minus 4 C. It leaves no residue and suits electronics and confined spaces.
