FPS is an authorised Minimax distributor in Bhopal for automatic ceiling mounted extinguishers in ABC powder and Grenoz clean agent versions. Each unit carries a sprinkler bulb that bursts at 68 °C as standard and releases the agent over about 3 m x 3 m, with no one needed to operate it.
Sizes: 5 kg, 10 kg
Ceiling mounted extinguisher in 5 and 10 kg that releases ABC powder on its own when its sprinkler bulb bursts at 68 °C. Meant for stores, server rooms and IT rooms with little foot traffic, covering about 3 m x 3 m.
Sizes: 5 kg, 6 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg
Ceiling mounted extinguisher filled with Grenoz 1230 (FK-5-1-12) clean agent in 5, 6, 10 and 12 kg, released automatically when its 68 °C bulb bursts. Intended for electrical panels, server rooms, computer rooms and other areas with electronic equipment.
Both models work the same way. The extinguisher is fixed to the ceiling above the risk, and when the heat reaches the rating of its sprinkler bulb (68 °C as standard, other temperatures on request) the bulb bursts and the agent sprays out. Minimax lists an area coverage of 3 m x 3 m per unit, so plan the number of units from the floor area of the room.
Minimax suggests both types for low traffic areas such as stores, server rooms and IT rooms. The Grenoz clean agent version is the one intended for electrical panels and electronic equipment: the agent is stored as a liquid, discharges as a gas, leaves no residue and does not conduct electricity back to the user.
Sizes and pressures differ. The ABC powder unit comes in 5 and 10 kg with silicon coated MAP 50 or MAP 90 powder and dry nitrogen at 15 bar. The Grenoz unit comes in 5, 6, 10 and 12 kg at 8 bar. Both work from -30 °C to +60 °C and are cylinder tested at 35 bar for 30 sec. FPS plans the layout, installs and maintains these units in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
