Ceasefire Watermist Hydrant Systems, CF 2000 and CF 3000, in Bhopal

Fire Protection System is an authorised Ceasefire distributor in Bhopal, supplying the CF 2000 and CF 3000 watermist hydrant systems. Both turn water into a very fine mist for fighting fires by hose, one connected to an existing water line and one fully self contained.

Where to use Hydrant Systems

  • Buildings with an existing water line or hydrant point (CF 2000)
  • Remote sites with no ready supply of compressed air and water (CF 3000)
  • Factories, workshops and warehouses
  • Electrical rooms and areas with electronic equipment
  • Fuel and solvent stores, with the AFFF foam option
  • Hotels, malls and commercial complexes
  • Hospitals, schools and institutions
  • Stores and archives where water damage must be kept low

How to choose

The main question is where the water comes from. CF 2000 is a standalone watermist hose reel that is connected to an existing water pipe or hydrant and a pressure line, so it keeps working as long as that supply lasts. CF 3000 carries its own water storage and an in built pressure container, which suits sites with no ready supply of compressed air and water; Ceasefire states it does its work with 60 litres of water.

Both units convert water into a fine mist: CF 2000 makes droplets of less than 40 microns and CF 3000 averages under 50 microns. Fine droplets evaporate quickly in the fire, cool it and form a barrier against radiated heat, and much less water is left behind on the property. Ceasefire rates both for all classes of fire and for electrically started fires, and states that the mist does not conduct electricity up to 35 kV.

For flammable liquid risks, ask for the AFFF foam additive option, available on both units. AFFF means aqueous film forming foam, an additive that increases extinguishing power on burning liquids. FPS supplies, installs and maintains CF 2000 and CF 3000 units in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.

Frequently asked questions

What is a watermist hydrant system?
It is a hose based firefighting unit that turns water into a very fine mist instead of a solid jet. The small droplets evaporate on contact with the fire, which cools it and keeps collateral water damage low.
What is the difference between CF 2000 and CF 3000?
CF 2000 connects to an existing water pipe or hydrant and a pressure line. CF 3000 is self contained, with its own pressure container, water storage and optional foam supply unit, so it works where there is no ready supply of compressed air and water.
Can these units be used on electrical fires?
Ceasefire states that both CF 2000 and CF 3000 conduct no electricity up to 35 kV and can be used on electrically started fires, which makes them compatible with electronic equipment.
Do these systems need foam?
No, both run on water, but each has an AFFF foam additive option for more extinguishing power, which helps on flammable liquid fires.
Does FPS install and service Ceasefire watermist hydrant systems?
Yes. FPS supplies, installs and maintains CF 2000 and CF 3000 systems in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh. Prices are on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.
