Ceasefire Watermist, Foam Mist and CAFS Equipment in Bhopal

Fire Protection System is an authorised Ceasefire distributor in Bhopal, supplying watermist and foam mist extinguishers from 2 ltr portables to wheeled Quad units, CAFS backpacks and trolleys, the Action-Pac, the TetraQuad, and Morph and Lancepro tools for fire teams. Mist turns water into very fine droplets that become steam in the fire, cooling it and cutting off oxygen with little water damage.

Where to use Watermist, Foam Mist & CAFS

  • Offices, malls and large institutions
  • Cinemas, auditoriums and other places with many people
  • Commercial kitchens (Class F rated mist models)
  • Electrical rooms with live equipment (rated models)
  • Warehouses and stores of combustible material (Quad, TetraQuad)
  • Factories and industrial plants

Ceasefire

Ceasefire Lancepro Watermist Firefighting Lance

WatermistFirefighting lanceRemote attack

A watermist lance for fire teams: the firefighter makes an opening in the wall with the kit's rotary hammer, inserts the Lancepro gun and fights the fire inside while staying outside the room. It is rated for Class A, B, C, F and electrically started fires.

How to choose

Watermist extinguishers use rotors and special nozzles to turn water into a fine mist, 40 to 60 microns on the portable models, which becomes steam in the fire, cools it and cuts off oxygen with little water left behind. Plain watermist is rated for Class A, F and electrically started fires, and the EN approved watermist portables are rated for live electrical equipment up to 1000 V from a distance of 1 metre. Foam mist adds a small dose of foaming agent to the water and extends the cover to Class B fires such as petrol and diesel.

For portables, choose between stored pressure models (2 to 9 ltr, with a gauge) and cartridge models (3 and 6 ltr) that build pressure only when used and can be refilled on site. For bigger risks, the Quad wheeled units (20 ltr to 100 ltr) use four multi rotors per container, the Action-Pac is a 13 ltr unit carried as a backpack or used on a trolley with a jet and spray gun, and the TetraQuad combines four 62.5 ltr cylinders with a 30 m hose on a trolley or vehicle.

CAFS (compressed air foam system) units come as backpacks and trolleys, driven by a cartridge, for large fires and trained users. Morph nozzle guns fit an existing hydrant or fire truck line and turn its water into mist, and the Lancepro lets a firefighter open a wall and fight a fire in a sealed space from outside. BIS models are made to IS 15683 or IS 16018, and the EN approved range carries LPCB, BSI Kitemark, PED and MED marks. FPS supplies, installs, refills and services this range in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.

Frequently asked questions

What is a watermist extinguisher?
It turns water into a very fine mist, 40 to 60 microns on Ceasefire's portable models, that becomes steam on contact with the fire. The steam cools the fire and cuts off oxygen, and because little water is used there is little damage from flooding.
What is the difference between watermist and foam mist?
Watermist uses plain water and is rated for Class A, F and electrically started fires. Foam mist adds a small amount of foaming agent, which extends it to Class B fires such as petrol and diesel.
What is CAFS?
CAFS stands for compressed air foam system. Ceasefire's CAFS units come as backpacks and 50 ltr trolleys, use a cartridge to drive a special gun that breaks the agent into fine droplets, and are meant for large Class A and B fires.
What are the Ceasefire Quad and TetraQuad?
They are wheeled watermist and foam mist units named after the four multi rotors in each container. The Quad comes in sizes from 20 ltr to 100 ltr, and the TetraQuad has four 62.5 ltr cylinders, a 30 m hose and a dual mode gun or foam cannon, and needs no electricity to work.
Can Morph nozzles be added to an existing hydrant system?
Yes. Morph nozzle guns are designed to attach to an existing hydrant system or fire truck and convert its water into mist. FPS can check your hydrant setup and supply the right nozzle type.
Does FPS refill and service watermist and foam mist equipment?
Yes. FPS supplies, installs, refills and maintains Ceasefire watermist, foam mist and CAFS equipment in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh. Prices are on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.
