How to choose
Start with the noise level and the SNR. SNR (single number rating) under EN 352 is the overall noise reduction in dB that the protector gives, and the H, M and L values show the reduction for high, medium and low frequency noise. NRR is the US rating under ANSI S3.19 and is measured differently, so compare SNR with SNR. Pick enough reduction for the noise on site without cutting the wearer off from alarms and speech.
Then the type. EN 352-1 ear defenders with a headband (MAGNY COURS 2 at SNR 33 dB, INTERLAGOS at SNR 30 dB, SPA 3 at SNR 23 dB) are quick to put on and take off. EN 352-3 ear defenders for helmets, like the MAGNY HELMET 2 at SNR 30 dB, mount on Delta Plus ZIRCON, QUARTZ, GRANITE and BASEBALL DIAMOND helmets. EN 352-2 earplugs, like the disposable CONIC500 at SNR 36 dB, are small and light and are thrown away after use.
Delta Plus colours its ear defenders by its own SNR colour scale, which makes it easier to match the protector to the noise level. For gates and shared areas, the CONIC DISPLAY dispenser comes filled with 500 pairs of CONIC500 earplugs. Prices are on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.
