First decide what is in the air: particles (dust, mist, fumes), gases and vapours, or both. For particles alone, the M1100V, M1200V and M1300V disposable masks are graded FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 under EN 149, with FFP3 filtering the most of the three. For gases and vapours you need a reusable mask with gas cartridges.
Gas filter letters follow EN 14387: A for organic gases and vapours, AX for low boiling organic compounds, B for inorganic gases, E for acid gases such as sulphur dioxide, K for ammonia and Hg for mercury, and the number after the letter is the capacity class. P2 and P3 particle filters follow EN 143, where R means reusable and NR means single shift only. A combined filter such as A2B2E2K2P3 covers several hazards at once.
Then the mask. JUPITER half masks to EN 140 cover nose and mouth: M6200 and M6400 take two M6000 bayonet cartridges, M6300 takes one, and the M6400 kits come with A2 or ABEK1 cartridges and P2 or P3 prefilters included. GALAXY full face masks to EN 136 Class 3 also cover the eyes and face, have a 210° screen and take M9000 cartridges with the EN 148-1 thread; choose ROTOR for one-hand adjustment or STRAP for a strap harness and shoulder strap.
A respirator only works if it seals on the face, so check size and fit for each wearer and plan for replacement cartridges. Prices are on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.
