An annunciator is a remote display, and often a control point, for the fire alarm panel: it shows alarms, troubles and point status away from the panel itself, for example at the entrance or in a security room. Start with the panel series. The ONYX ACS annunciators, NCA-2, LCD2-80, LCD-160 and LDM-32 serve ONYX panels such as the NFS2-640 and NFS2-3030, while the NCD, ACM-30, RLD and LDM2-32 / LDM2-60 serve the INSPIRE Series.
For point-by-point LED status, the ACM-24AT has 24 colour-programmable Active LEDs, 24 yellow Trouble LEDs and 24 touch-pad switches, and each AEM-24AT expander adds 24 points, up to 96. The ACM-48A has 48 Active LEDs, and one AEM-48A adds 48 more, again up to 96. On INSPIRE, the ACM-30 has 30 capacitive touch buttons, each with two LEDs that can be programmed in eight colours.
For text and full control, the NCA-2 is a network control annunciator with a 640-character backlit LCD and QWERTY keypad for NOTI-FIRE-NET, and the NCD is the next generation with a 10 inch colour touch screen. The LCD2-80 is an 80-character LCD annunciator, with up to 32 on one system, and the LCD-160 mimics the top 160 characters of the NFS-3030 or NFS2-3030 display. The RLD is a compact 5 inch colour touchscreen mimic for INSPIRE panels.
For a floor-plan style display, the LDM lamp driver modules drive the lamps or LEDs of a custom graphic panel. FPS supplies, installs, programs and maintains Notifier annunciators in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
