Zoloto Pressure Reducing and Safety Relief Valves in Bhopal

Fire Protection System (FPS), a Zoloto dealer in Bhopal, supplies Zoloto compact pressure reducing valves in forged brass (15 mm to 50 mm) and bronze (65 mm to 100 mm) for inlet pressures up to 25 bar, and spring loaded safety relief valves from 15 mm to 50 mm with set pressures up to 10 kg/cm²g.

Where to use Pressure Reducing and Relief Valves

  • Plumbing lines in multi storey buildings where supply pressure must be brought down
  • Branch lines fed from a booster pump or a high pressure main
  • Hotels, hospitals, offices and apartments with a pressurised water supply
  • Points where outlet pressure needs watching, using the 1/4 inch BSP gauge port on the PRVs
  • Protection of pipework and equipment against over pressure (safety relief valves)
  • Lines and small vessels that need a set relief pressure up to 10 kg/cm²g (safety relief valves)

How to choose

A pressure reducing valve (PRV) takes water at a higher, varying inlet pressure and delivers it at a lower, steadier outlet pressure. Zoloto's compact PRVs work on the line pressure alone, with no external power, and accept up to 25 bar upstream with a 90°C working limit. The forged brass 1040B covers 15 mm to 50 mm and the bronze 1040A covers 65 mm to 100 mm. Both have female threads to IS 554 / BS 21 / ISO 7, hot forged brass trim and food grade rubber O rings.

Both PRVs have a tapping for a 1/4 inch BSP pressure gauge, so the outlet pressure can be set and checked. Choose the valve for the flow and the outlet pressure you need, not only the pipe size; FPS can help select and set it on site.

A safety relief valve does a different job: it stays shut until the pressure reaches its set point, then opens to let the excess out. Zoloto's spring loaded relief valves have a male screwed end to IS 554 / BS 21 / ISO 7, metal to rubber seating, a set pressure range up to 10 kg/cm²g and an 80°C limit, from 15 mm to 50 mm, in open discharge (1094) and enclosed discharge (1094A) types. FPS supplies, installs and sets these valves in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.

Frequently asked questions

What does a pressure reducing valve do?
It lowers the pressure coming from the supply and holds a steadier, lower pressure downstream, which protects pipes, fittings and fixtures. Zoloto's compact PRVs do this using the line pressure alone, without any external power.
What inlet pressure can Zoloto PRVs take?
Zoloto lists a maximum upstream pressure of 25 bar and a maximum working temperature of 90°C for both the forged brass 1040B and the bronze 1040A.
What is the difference between a PRV and a safety relief valve?
A PRV works all the time to keep the downstream pressure lower. A safety relief valve stays shut and only opens when the pressure rises to its set point, to let the excess out.
Open discharge or enclosed discharge relief valve: which one?
Zoloto makes its spring loaded relief valve in both types, the 1094 with open discharge and the 1094A with enclosed discharge, with the same sizes and set pressure range. The choice depends on where the released water or air may go, and FPS can advise for your site.
How do I get a price for Zoloto pressure reducing valves?
Prices depend on model, size and quantity and are given on request. Call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060 and FPS will quote for supply, or supply with installation across MP.
