Kanex Fire Suppression Systems in Bhopal

Fire Protection System (FPS) is an authorised distributor for Kanex fire suppression systems in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh, covering tube-actuated panel and machine systems, CO2 systems, clean agent total flooding and kitchen hood systems. We size the system, install it, and return for testing, refilling and service.

Where to use Fire Suppression Systems

  • Electrical panels and LT or HT control cabinets
  • Server racks, data rooms and telecom equipment
  • CNC and EDM machines in tool rooms
  • Dry type transformers and DG set enclosures
  • Laboratory fume hoods
  • Commercial kitchen hoods and cooking lines
  • Cable trays and cable runs
  • Power substations and engine rooms
  • Wind turbine electrical compartments and alternator zones
  • Small and medium server rooms needing total flooding

Kanex Fire Suppression Systems models

Kanex CO2 Indirect High Pressure (IHP) Suppression System

CO2 agentIndirect release (IHP)4.5 to 45 kg

Sizes: 4.5, 6.5, 9, 22.5, 45 kg

Indirect high pressure CO2 systems for panels, dry type transformers and generators, CNC and EDM machines and fume hoods, where the detection tube senses the fire and nozzles deliver CO2 as a gentle mist. Cylinder sizes from 4.5 kg up to 45 kg depending on the enclosure.

Kanex Room Protection System with Detector and Alarm Panel

Electrically actuatedDetector and alarm panelRoom protection

An electrically actuated room system in which smoke detectors signal a fire alarm panel, which opens the control valve and releases the extinguishing media into the affected area. The panel also drives a hooter and can send SMS alerts and calls.

Kanex Direct Release Tube Systems

Direct releaseFiretrace detection tubingEnclosure protection

Direct release systems in which the heat and flame sensitive Firetrace detection tubing serves as both the detector and the agent delivery line. Used for small enclosures where suppression is needed right at the source.

Kanex Indirect Release Tube Systems

Indirect releaseFiretrace detection tubingNozzle discharge

Indirect release systems where the Firetrace detection tubing only detects the fire and activates the system, and the agent is discharged through separate nozzles. Recommended for larger machine enclosures.

How to choose

Start with the hazard, not the cylinder. A single panel, machine or rack is normally protected by a pre-engineered tube system, where a pressurised plastic detection tube runs past the hot spots and bursts at the point nearest the fire. A whole room is protected by a total flooding system that fills the volume with clean agent to the design concentration.

Then pick direct or indirect release. In a direct system the same tube that detects the fire also delivers the agent through the burst hole, which suits small sealed enclosures such as panels and racks. In an indirect system the tube only senses heat and a valve then discharges through separate nozzles, which suits larger or ventilated spaces such as CNC machines, fume hoods, dry transformers and DG sets.

Choose the agent next. Clean agents such as FM-200 (HFC-227ea), FE-36 (HFC-236fa) and FK-5-1-12 or Novec 1230 leave no residue and are electrically non-conductive, so cleanup and downtime are low. CO2 works by cooling and removing oxygen, so it is meant for unmanned spaces like engine rooms and machine interiors. Commercial kitchens need a wet chemical system for Class F cooking oil fires.

Finally check the supporting details: cylinder capacity to suit the protected volume, whether you want a manual release or pressure switch for alarms and machine shutdown, and the approvals your client or insurer asks for. Send us your panel or machine dimensions and we will work out the system. Prices on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.

Frequently asked questions

What is a tube-actuated fire suppression system?
A thin, heat sensitive plastic tube is pressurised and routed past the risk areas inside a panel or machine. When a fire starts, the tube bursts at the hottest point and this either releases the agent straight through the hole (direct) or trips a valve that discharges through nozzles (indirect). No electricity or detector wiring is needed for the basic system.
Which is better for an electrical panel, clean agent or CO2?
Both are electrically non-conductive and leave no residue. Clean agents such as FM-200, FE-36 and FK-5-1-12 are used where people may be nearby, while CO2 is meant for unoccupied spaces. FPS can quote either option for your panel.
Do these systems damage electronics or need cleanup?
No. Clean agents and CO2 are non-conductive and leave no residue, so equipment can usually be put back in service after inspection instead of being cleaned or replaced as with water or foam.
Can a Kanex system be fitted to machines we already have?
Yes. The pre-engineered systems are designed to be installed in new or existing machines and cabinets, the detection tubing follows existing cable routes, and it does not interfere with normal operation or maintenance. FPS handles the installation in Bhopal and across MP.
Do you refill the cylinders and service the system?
Yes. FPS supplies, installs, refills and maintains Kanex suppression systems, including clean agent and CO2 cylinders and kitchen wet chemical units, with periodic checks of tubing, valve and nozzles.
How do I get a price?
Share the enclosure or room size, the equipment being protected and the agent you prefer. Call or WhatsApp FPS on +91 92440 89060 and we will send a system design with prices on request.
