An analogue addressable panel gives every detector, call point and module on its loop its own address, so the panel shows exactly which device is in alarm. The loop is the cable that runs out from the panel to the devices and back, carrying power and data. Morley-IAS offers panels to EN standards and to UL standards. EN 54 is the European standard series for fire detection and alarm systems: part 2 covers control and indicating equipment, part 4 power supply equipment and part 13 the compatibility of system components. The ZXSe panels list EN 54 parts 2 and 4, the Max panels EN 54-2, EN 54-4 and EN 54-13, and the DXc is part of the Morley EN range. The STX and SMX belong to the Morley UL range, which states compliance with UL 864 10th edition.
Next, size the panel to the loops you need. The DXc range has the DXc1 (one loop), DXc2 (two loops) and DXc4 (four loops), and DXc panels can network with each other up to 16 loops. The ZXSe range has the ZX1Se (one loop), ZX2Se (one or two loops) and ZX5Se (one to five loops), each loop up to 460mA. In the Morley Max series the MA-2000-04 is a dual loop panel and the MA-8000-04 has four loops, expandable to eight; both have a 7 inch colour touch display and network over CAN Bus, up to 64 panels or 128 loops.
In the UL range, the STX has a PC+ABS plastic enclosure for surface mounting and the SMX a powder coated mild steel body for surface or flush mounting; the range supports up to 159 detectors and 39 modules per loop. The LT-159 is a compact touchscreen panel for up to 159 addressable devices and is designed for Agile radio equipment. The PL-1000 is a compact single loop panel, expandable to two loops, with Honeywell's Advanced (AP) protocol and a 4.3 inch touchscreen. Morley Lite is a panel with 2, 4, 6 or 8 Class B detection circuits for Morley Lite series detectors.
FPS helps you choose the range and panel for the building, then supplies, installs, programs, commissions and maintains Morley-IAS panels in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
