How to choose
Modules connect things that are not detectors to the addressable loop. A monitor (input) module watches a contact, such as a water flow switch or a four-wire smoke detector, and reports its status to the panel. A control (output) or relay module switches something on command from the panel, such as door holders, fans, dampers or an air handling unit shut down. A zone module brings a whole circuit of conventional (non-addressable) detectors onto the loop, and an isolator module cuts off a short-circuited section of the loop so the rest keeps working.
For DXc and ZXSe panels, the MI/DMMI single input module, MI-MM3E-S2 mini monitor module, MI/D2ICMO dual input and single output module, MI/DCMO control output module, MI/D240CMO 240V AC output module, MI/DCZRM zone monitor module and MI/DISO loop isolator are listed. The MI/DCMO and MI/DCZRM each use one of the 99 module addresses on a loop. For Morley Max panels, the newer MI-DMM2IE, MI-D2ICMOE, MI-DMMIE and MI-DCMOE modules are listed, but their page links no datasheet.
