For a wet sprinkler system, the Model H alarm valve sits on the riser and works as a check valve, holding pressurised water above its clapper and stopping back flow from the sprinkler piping. When a sprinkler opens and water flows, the valve operates the alarm through the water motor gong and pressure switch. It comes in 80, 100, 150 and 200 NB, in ductile iron to ASTM A536 with fusion bonded epoxy coating inside and out, with flanged, grooved or mixed ends. Choose the variable pressure trim, which adds a retard chamber and gong, where supply pressure surges; a constant pressure trim is optional.
A pre-action system keeps the sprinkler pipes dry until a release condition is met, so water does not enter the piping by accident. HD builds its pre-action systems around the UL Listed deluge valve Model H3 and check valve Model CH, in 50 to 200 NB. In a single interlock system one event lets water in: a wet pilot line, a dry pilot line or an electric detection signal. In a double interlock system two events are needed, a detection signal plus a second electric or pneumatic signal, which HD offers as electric/electric or electric/pneumatic release.
Decide the scope of supply. HD pre-action sets can come with or without the release panel, compressor, butterfly valve and air maintenance device, the water motor gong is optional, ends can be grooved or flanged, and the set can be pre-assembled or loose. The Pre-Pack puts everything, including a built-in air compressor and a control panel with battery backup, in one free standing cabinet. Prices on request: call or WhatsApp +91 92440 89060.
