At the hose end, a branch pipe fits on the end of the fire hose and shapes the water into a firefighting jet. Kartar's K903 branch pipe comes with its nozzle, is made to IS 903 with the ISI mark, and is offered in gunmetal or stainless steel. A shut off nozzle lets the operator stop and start the flow at the nozzle: Kartar lists a PVC shut off nozzle (K914-P) and a brass shut off nozzle with a 1/2 inch ball valve (K914-B), both with a 3/4 inch connection.
Hose couplings join the hose to the landing valve, the branch pipe and other hose lengths. Kartar's K902 delivery hose coupling is supplied complete, made to IS 903 with the ISI mark, in gunmetal or stainless steel. Its website describes it as a push type coupling for 65 mm fire hose, tested to 21 kg/cm2, while the product list gives the size as 63 mm, so we match it to your hose before ordering. The JMW K902-S is a short body delivery coupling, and the K906 spare coupling replaces the outlet coupling of a landing valve.
Breech inlets are fixed on the outside of a building so that fire service pumps can feed water into its fire fighting system. Kartar's water inlet connections have inbuilt check valves and come in 2 way, 3 way and 4 way versions, in gunmetal or stainless steel, without a gate valve or with a 20 mm gate valve; the 2 way and 4 way inlets also come in an Eco model. The K910-CV spare check valve is listed with them in 50 mm and 63 mm.
A water monitor throws a heavy stream of water onto large fires from a distance. Kartar's K911 monitor has a 63 mm size and comes with an aluminium nozzle (K911 AL) or a gunmetal nozzle (K911 GM). For upkeep, Kartar lists a lug bush assembly and rubber seal for hose couplings and a rubber cap and chain for the breech inlet.
