Sant Valves Private Limited is based on G.T. Road Bye Pass, Jalandhar, Punjab. The SANT Group was started in 1953 by Late Thakur Ganpat Rai to make industrial valves under the SANT brand, and the company says its valves are made to national and international standards and have been in service in India and abroad for more than six decades. Alongside valves it makes MS forged pipe fittings, water meters, DI grooved and screwed fittings (UL/FM) and composite pipes. Sant states that it tests raw materials in its own laboratory, carries out hydro, pneumatic and steam testing of valves, and lists third party inspection by agencies such as Lloyd's, TUV, DNV and PDIL.
Sant valves are used in plumbing and in oil, gas, power, fertiliser, textile, sugar, cement and pharmaceutical plants. For fire protection, some models are UL Listed or FM Approved as stated on their product pages, including resilient seated gate valves, butterfly valves with tamper switch, check valves and Y-type strainers.
