First pick the range. Cerberus PRO FS720 panels (FC721 to FC726) are addressable panels for Cerberus PRO devices on C-NET, set up with the Cerberus-Engineering-Tool. Sinteso panels (FC2020 to FC2060) do the same for Sinteso devices on FDnet, programmed with SintesoWorks. Cerberus FIT addressable panels (FC361, FC362) have an integrated Panel Configurator, so they can be set up from a PC or laptop without extra software. Cerberus FIT conventional panels (FC121 to FC124) work in zones. In an addressable system every device has its own address on a loop (a detector line that starts and ends at the panel) or on a stub line (a line with one end at the panel), so the panel shows exactly which device is in alarm.
Then size the panel by addresses. In Cerberus PRO, the FC721 handles 126 addresses on 1 loop and runs only as a stand-alone panel, the FC722 handles 252 addresses on 2 loops (expandable to 4), the FC724 handles 504 addresses on 4 loops (expandable to 8), and the modular FC723 and FC726 handle 756 and 1512 addresses, expandable to 12 and 28 loops with line cards. In Sinteso, the FC2020 has 252 addresses, the FC2040 504, the modular FC2030-AA 756 and the modular FC2060-AA 1512. The Cerberus FIT FC361 has 126 and the FC362 252 addresses. The conventional FC121-ZA, FC122-ZA, FC123-ZA and FC124-ZA have 2, 4, 8 and 12 zones.
Next choose the housing and options. Standard, Comfort and Large housings differ in size and listed operating current, and some versions add LED indicators. The FC722-HA and FC724-HA come with an EVAC operating unit, and the FC722-ZZG and FC724-ZAG include the X200 gateway for connection to the Cerberus Cloud. Modular panels have a card cage for extra line cards and I/O cards, which can be exchanged without removing power. For modernising, the FC723-ZA is designed for existing SynoLOOP installations, and the Sinteso FC2030-AA and FC2060-AA take signals from older collective, MS9i, DS11, Synova 600 and SIGMACON detectors for a gradual move to Sinteso.
For larger sites, Cerberus PRO and Sinteso panels network up to 32 panels and fire terminals in one cluster (16 when linked to a danger management system), and a fibre-optic backbone can join 14 clusters into an EN 54 network of up to 64 panels and terminals. Approvals differ by model, and each model below shows what Siemens lists. FPS supplies, installs, programs, commissions and maintains Siemens panels in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh, and confirms the exact panel, housing and expansion part numbers with you before ordering.
