An extinguishing control panel does two jobs: it detects and evaluates a fire through its detectors, and it controls the release of the extinguishing system for the protected area, which Siemens calls a sector. Siemens lists EN 12094-1, the European standard for electrical control devices of gas extinguishing systems, together with EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 for the XC361-ZA, XC3610-AA and XC1003-A.
For one sector, the XC360 series has an integrated extinguishing control card and handles detection and alarm for up to 126 addressable devices on one loop. Choose the XC361-ZA for Cerberus FIT and Cerberus PRO peripherals on C-NET, or the XC3610-AA for Sinteso peripherals on FDnet. Both come in a large Comfort enclosure with space for 2x 12 V, 25 Ah batteries, are LPCB approved according to Siemens, and have an integrated Panel Configurator, so they can be set up from a PC or laptop without extra software.
For several sectors, the XC1003-A is a 19 inch rack version that offers the same connections as the XC1001-A. Up to 16 panels fit in one 19 inch housing, and with the optional multi-sector modules they can activate a common control cylinder, control selector valves and monitor their position, and apply inter-blocking. On Sinteso systems, the FC2040-CL is a 4-loop fire control panel with extinguishing control for up to 504 addresses, and the XCI2005-A1 card adds extinguishing for one sector, or up to 16 sectors with more cards, in FC2020 and FC2040 panels.
Extinguishing release must be designed with the suppression system and the room. FPS supplies, installs and maintains Siemens extinguishing control panels in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh, and confirms the exact panel, cards and part numbers with you before ordering.
