Bosch FCP-O320 Conventional Optical Smoke Detector, 820 or 470 Ohm (FCP-O320-R470)
A conventional optical smoke detector from the FCP-320 series, offered with an 820 ohm alarm resistor (FCP-O320) or a 470 ohm alarm resistor (FCP-O320-R470).
Fire Protection System (FPS), a Bosch dealer in Bhopal, supplies Bosch conventional smoke, heat and multisensor detectors from the FCP-320/FCH-320 series and the ultra-flat FCP-500 series. FPS installs, tests and maintains them across Madhya Pradesh.
A conventional optical smoke detector from the FCP-320 series, offered with an 820 ohm alarm resistor (FCP-O320) or a 470 ohm alarm resistor (FCP-O320-R470).
A conventional multisensor detector that combines an optical smoke sensor with a heat sensor, offered with an 820 ohm or a 470 ohm alarm resistor.
A conventional multisensor detector that combines an optical smoke sensor with a chemical (gas) sensor, offered with an 820 ohm or a 470 ohm alarm resistor.
A conventional heat detector that responds to a rapid rise in temperature and to a maximum temperature, with an 820 ohm alarm resistor.
The 470 ohm alarm resistor version of the FCH-T320 conventional heat detector, for panels that expect a 470 ohm alarm load.
A conventional optical smoke detector with an ultra-flat design for flush ceiling mounting, colour matched to the room with toning inserts.
A conventional multisensor detector with an optical sensor and an additional gas sensor, in the ultra-flat FCP-500 design for flush ceiling mounting.
A conventional detector is wired on a zone circuit rather than an addressable loop, so the panel shows which zone is in alarm, not which detector. When a conventional detector alarms it switches an alarm resistor across the zone, and the panel reads the change. Bosch makes the FCP-320 and FCH-320 detectors in two versions, with an 820 ohm resistor or with a 470 ohm resistor (code ending -R470), and states that this, together with the 8.5 to 30 V DC operating range, lets them work with nearly all conventional fire panels. Pick the resistor value your panel expects.
Then choose the sensor. FCP-O320 is optical (smoke), FCP-OT320 combines optical and heat, FCP-OC320 combines optical and chemical (gas) sensing, and FCH-T320 is a heat detector that reacts both to a fast temperature rise and to a maximum temperature. The FCP-320 detectors have drift compensation that adjusts the threshold as the optical sensor gets dirty, a dust-repellent labyrinth, a removal lock that can be switched on or off, and an output for a remote alarm indicator. Bosch lists the MS 400 and MS 400 B as bases for them.
The FCP-500 detectors (FCP-O 500 optical and FCP-OC 500 optical/chemical) have an ultra-flat design for flush ceiling mounting, with colour toning inserts to match the ceiling, and run on 8.5 to 33 volts DC. Check the approvals listed under each model, because they differ between versions.
FPS supplies, installs, tests and maintains Bosch conventional detectors in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh. Confirm the exact part number with FPS before ordering.
