Ravel Addressable Relay Module (Avani Multi Loop)
An analogue addressable relay module with two potential free contacts for switching third party systems from the Avani panel.
Fire Protection System (FPS), a Ravel dealer in Bhopal, supplies Ravel analogue addressable modules: relay, control, monitor, zone and input output modules and loop isolators for the Avani multi loop panel and the MonitI single loop panel, plus an isolator base. FPS installs, programs and maintains them across Madhya Pradesh.
An analogue addressable relay module with two potential free contacts for switching third party systems from the Avani panel.
An analogue addressable control module that drives conventional sounders, sounder strobes, strobes or bells, supervising both the output circuit and its power input.
An analogue addressable monitor module that reports when a third party contact changes from normally open to closed, with the connected circuit supervised.
A zone interface module that connects conventional smoke, heat and multi sensor detectors, or a beam detector, to an addressable panel.
A dual address module that both monitors and controls a single third party system, with a supervised input circuit.
A non addressable isolator module that limits a single short circuit on the addressable loop to one section. Ravel advises one for every 16 devices.
An analogue addressable relay module for the MonitI single loop panel, with a built in isolator.
An analogue addressable control module for the MonitI single loop panel, with a supervised output circuit and a built in isolator.
An analogue addressable monitor module for the MonitI single loop panel, with a built in isolator.
An analogue addressable zone module for the MonitI single loop panel, with a built in isolator and an external 24 V DC supply.
An analogue addressable input output module for the MonitI single loop panel, with a built in isolator.
A loop isolator module for the MonitI single loop panel that limits a short circuit to one section of the loop.
A bidirectional isolator built into a detector base, so a single short circuit on the loop only affects the section where it occurs. Ravel advises one for every 16 devices.
Modules let an addressable fire alarm panel talk to equipment that is not itself addressable. First match the module to the panel: the RE-717 modules work with the Avani multi loop panel and are addressed with an 8 way DIP switch, while the RE-737 modules work with the MonitI single loop panel, can be addressed by software or DIP switch, and have a built in isolator.
Then choose the function. A relay module (MR) gives potential free contacts, rated 2 A at 30 V DC, to switch a third party system when the alarm operates. A control module (MC) drives conventional sounders, sounder strobes, strobes or bells on a supervised Class B, Style Y output circuit, powered from a regulated 24 V supply. A monitor module (MM) watches a third party contact and reports when it changes from normally open to closed. A zone module (MZ) brings conventional detectors, or a beam detector, onto the addressable loop. An input output module (MX) monitors and controls one third party system from a single module.
An isolator splits the loop into sections so that a single short circuit only takes out the section where it occurs, and Ravel advises one isolator for every 16 devices. Use the RE-717MI or RE-737MI isolator module, or the RE-314BI isolator base, which fits under a detector and has a plug type connector. Ravel states UL listing (9th edition) for the RE-717MR, RE-717MC and RE-717MM. FPS supplies, installs and maintains Ravel modules in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.
