Start with the console. Ekonics is Ravel's digital alarm and voice evacuation system, with 4 audio inputs, 8 zone outputs expandable to 64, 12 programmable recorded (DVA) or alarm messages, a 40 x 4 LCD and an RS-485 link to the Avani panel. The e’Scape and REVAC Nx are 1 to 16 zone PA main consoles with 100 V speaker outputs; the e’Scape has a built in 250 W amplifier and works with the Avani panel, while the REVAC Nx comes with a 125 W or 250 W built in amplifier and can be integrated with any fire alarm panel. Ravel lists CE approval for all three.
Add zones and power as the building needs. The EK-700 series expanders add zones to Ekonics in groups of 8, up to 64 zones, with supervised field circuits. The RE-EX series (for e’Scape) and RE-XP series (for REVAC) add zones in groups of 16, from 17 to 128 zones. Extra power comes from Ravel's rack mounted Class D amplifiers: the EK-721 (125 W) and EK-722 (250 W) for Ekonics, and the RE-125 and RE-250.
