A server room needs a fire put out in seconds, without water or residue, in a room that stays safe for staff. FPS designs and installs clean agent and inert gas room systems, rack units for single racks, and the gas release panels that run them, from Ceasefire, Kanex, Minimax, HD Fire, Honeywell, Ravel, Siemens and Soft-Chip, in Bhopal and across Madhya Pradesh.

Three layers work together: smoke detection early enough to act before the fire grows, often cross zoned so two detectors must agree; a room system that floods the space with clean agent or inert gas; and a gas release panel that warns staff, counts down and lets them abort.
The agent must leave no residue and must not conduct, so water and powder are out. Clean agents (FK-5-1-12, HFC 227ea) need the smallest cylinder bank; inert gas suits large halls and several rooms from one bank.
The room has to hold the gas: gaps in walls, raised floors, false ceilings and ducts are sealed or fitted with dampers so the concentration stays up long enough. We check this on the site survey.
Clean agent systems from Ceasefire, Honeywell, Kanex and Minimax, and inert gas systems from Ceasefire, HD Fire and Honeywell, with the agent and approvals each maker lists. The Kanex room protection system adds SMS alerts and calls when it operates.

The Ceasefire SQRS packs smoke detection, controls, an HFC 227ea cylinder and an alarm into the rack, with an optional IP module for alerts on a phone. The Honeywell rack mount unit covers racks of 1.5 to 3 cubic metres with cross zoned detection and a 24 hour battery backup. Kanex offers a direct low pressure system for panels and racks.

A do-it-yourself suppression unit for equipment racks that uses a clean agent safe for PCBs. It covers racks of 1.5 m3 to 3 m3 and uses cross zone smoke detection to help reduce the risk of electrical fires.
The release panel watches the detectors, sounds the alarm, counts down and fires the system, with abort and manual release switches at the door. We supply release panels from Ceasefire, Ravel, Siemens and Soft-Chip.
For a whole room, choose the agent first: a clean agent for one room where space is tight, inert gas for large halls or several rooms from one bank. Then we size the system to the room volume and check the room seals.
For a few racks in an office, rack units protect each rack without flooding the room. For UPS rooms with lithium-ion batteries, add battery protection.
Plan the people side too: hooters and signs at every door, an abort switch, and staff who know what the countdown means. We install, commission and maintain the whole system under an AMC.
